"I found Reading Roaster while walking the downtown streets of Reading in the summer 1990. At the time, I lived in the area. Albert and Rosemary took the time to educate me and introduce me over the three years I lived in Lancaster to their premium blends and roasting process. Since leaving the area in 1992, I have introduced more than one hundred clients, friends, and family to their beans in one form or another. The same fresh quality roasting can be experienced upon opening the vacuum sealed bag as I remember Albert finishing a roast in the original store stopwatch hanging from his neck. Interesting enough one deep smell of the bag brings forth the same "zing" Albert would describe to me at the top of your head as from that fresh roasted batch. Each of my custom orders is shipped in a timely fashion with an enclosure note that reads, "here's something to get you through the daily grind from the best roast on the East coast." That's a strong statement from a guy who likes his coffee black! In my many orders, I have never received a complaint."
