Reading Coffee Company Opens Its Second Café in Douglassville!
Opening a second café isn’t easy, but with a team like ours, a community like this, and a brand we believe in, it’s absolutely worth it. We’re proud (and thrilled!) to officially announce that Reading Coffee Company is now open in Douglassville and we couldn't be more excited to bring our signature brews, cozy atmosphere, and friendly faces to the eastern Berks County community.
This new café is more than just a second location, it’s the next chapter in our story. Nestled in the heart of Douglassville’s newest and most technologically advanced mixed-use building, this space is brimming with energy, innovation, and a strong sense of community. From solar power to back-up generators that keep us brewing rain or shine, this café was built to serve and stay open no matter what.

Let’s start with the building. It’s truly one-of-a-kind — designed for the future with sustainability and smart technology in mind. There’s plenty of parking (yes, really), a growing business community right inside the building, and 15 beautiful luxury apartments whose residents have already made us feel like part of the neighborhood.

As we get settled in, we’re still finding our rhythm — and that means we’re learning right alongside you. We’re fine-tuning our food menu, seeing what our new neighbors enjoy most, honing recipes, training new team members, and working hard to optimize our hours and service flow.
